(A copy of this map is available to you at Woolman Hill, but it is not very closely to scale.)

The tour starts here!

After parking, you will walk through the garden to the Conference Center (the yellow house ahead of you.)

If you glance to your right, you will see Woolman Hill's modest office.

The yellow building is the Conference Center, where most conferences are held.

From the position from which the last photo was taken, if you look to your left you will see the Meetinghouse.

If you enter the yellow Conference Center, you will come to an area comfortable for small gatherings or just relaxation.

If you pass through a vestibule, or alternately through the Kitchen....

you will come to the Library, sometimes used for housing.

The largest room in the Conference Center is the Dining Room.

In good weather, meals are sometimes taken out to the patio.

The area just north of the Conference Center is sometimes used for tents, to accommodate weddings and other gatherings too large to fit in the Conference Center.

On the grounds there are many places for sitting and relaxing....

most of them more comfortable than that stone bench.

If you come with a group you may want to have an evening campfire at the fire circle.

You may want to stroll through some of Woolman Hill's woodland paths.

or visit the Pond.

Woolman Hill has several cabins: "Wood Shop" cabin is near the Meetinghouse:

Though it is not really a cabin, the nearby Yurt is an interesting little building. It has recently (fall '06) been reroofed and greatly improved, mostly through the efforts of Scott Nielsen.

The very unusual "Sunrise" cabin is near the Traprock Peace Center:

"Saltbox" cabin is in the woods:

There is a wonderful trail along the Ridge Cliffs, but there are no photos of that here, sorry to say - but please take that tour yourself.

Thanks for taking the virtual tour. Now come and take the real one!
